Trolling the soap-tasting haters to drive earned attention for Doritos Coriander

1 in 5 Aussies hate coriander due to a genetic issue that makes them think the world’s most delicious herb tastes like soap - the worst part? These biologically-inferior coriander haters are very vocal about it.

So when Doritos announced they were launching their own coriander flavour, we knew the hate would come thick and fast. Did we run from it? Quite the opposite. We decided to troll the haters, marketing the chip as the latest flavoured soap craze with a series of soap-inspired ads placed in OOH locations near Lush and Aesop stores.
